If you have any open PRs against NEST, please merge current master into them to benefit from the recently merged #3717 (thanks to thomaskroi1996!), which replaces a long-deprecated and now removed NumPy call with its modern counterpart. Without this, tests
will currently fail under macOS and are expected to fail on Linux as well once that switches to NumPy 2.4.
